This De Bortoli Woodfired Shiraz has deep red flavours with purple edge. Plump, dark fruits, fennel and olive spice, dark chocolate. Soft, rich, plump, balanced tannin cured meats, wild spice, authentically Heathcote. Vineyards from several sections of Heathcote were selected from Corop, Chinamans Bend and Colbinabbin. The ancient red Cambrian soils of Northern Heathcote are ideal for dark fruited, plump red wines like Woodfired Shiraz.

Crafted by the team at De Bortoli and made in a flavoursome, modern Australian style, with good all-round appeal. Light straw yellow with a green hue. Oatmeal, stone fruit, grapefruit aromas. Medium weight yet full of flavour with a viscous mix of peach and melon, complexing peppery spice, and light background oak. A good all-rounder.
